Accreditation Goals


The UA Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering offers a four-year curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering; the degree program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET




  1. Graduates will be prepared to enter the engineering profession with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute and advance within their companies. 
  2. Graduates will be prepared to enter graduate school and obtain advanced degrees in chemical engineering and related disciplines as well as other fields such as medicine, law and business.
  3. Graduates will have an appreciation of environmental issues and be prepared to address these issues across diverse applications.
