Research Includes:  abiotic destruction of aqueous-phase trace organic contaminants (Fenton-based, UV/peroxide, etc.), desalination research including brine minimization and disposal in inland areas, presence and fate of trace organic contaminants of wastewater origins- from the perspectives of water reuse and biosolids disposal, systems approaches to facilities planning for location of urban wastewater treatment capacity (centralized versus distributed water reclamation)
